Frequently asked questions

Questions

How much does it cost?

Prices depend on the document, the languages, the destination country and how many official steps are needed. Send us your documents and we will give you a free quote with no obligation.

Do you have an office in my city?

We serve clients in every part of Pakistan. Most work is done remotely: you send scans for the quote, and originals travel by courier only when an official stamp has to be placed on them.

Which languages do you translate?

English, Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto, Sindhi, Saraiki, Balochi, Arabic, Persian, Dari, Chinese, Turkish and all major European and Asian languages.

Can overseas Pakistanis use your services?

Yes. Many of our clients live abroad and need documents from Pakistan retrieved, translated and legalized without travelling.

How quickly can you deliver?

Translations of standard certificates are often ready within a few working days. Attestation, apostille and embassy steps depend on the authorities, and your quote includes a realistic timeline.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Your documents are used only to deliver the service you ask for and are handled only by our team and the translators assigned to your order.

Will my translation be accepted abroad?

Requirements differ by country and institution. Tell us where the document will be used, and we prepare the translation, certification and any notarization or apostille to match that authority's rules.

Do you need the original document?

For the translation a clear scan or photo is enough. Originals are only needed when a stamp, such as an apostille or embassy legalization, has to be placed on them.

Which countries accept an apostille?

Members of the Hague Apostille Convention, including most of Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and many others. Some members have special arrangements with Pakistan, so we confirm the correct route for your destination before starting.

Do educational documents need extra steps?

Usually, yes. Degrees generally need HEC verification and secondary school certificates need IBCC verification before an apostille can be issued.

How long does embassy legalization take?

It depends on the embassy, the type of document and whether a translation is needed. Your quote includes a realistic timeline.

Can you legalize commercial documents?

Yes. Invoices, certificates of origin, company documents and contracts usually need chamber of commerce attestation first, and we include that step where it is required.

Do I have to be in Pakistan?

No. Many of our clients live abroad. If an authority requires the applicant's presence or an authorization letter, we tell you exactly what to sign.

What is the difference between attestation and an apostille?

Attestation is verification by a Pakistani authority. The apostille is a single certificate from MOFA recognised by Convention countries. Countries outside the Convention need embassy legalization instead.

Is a notarized copy the same as an apostille?

No. Notarization confirms a copy or a signature. If the document is going abroad, it may still need an apostille or embassy legalization afterwards.

Can you draft the affidavit text?

Yes. We draft the wording in English, Urdu or the required language, based on what the receiving authority asks for.

I live abroad. How do I give a power of attorney for property in Pakistan?

Usually the document is signed before a notary or a Pakistani mission where you live and then authenticated for use in Pakistan. We prepare the text and tell you the steps for your country.

Can one document cover several matters?

A general power of attorney can, but many offices and banks prefer a special power of attorney for each matter. We advise you on what the receiving office will accept.

What do you need from me to retrieve a document?

Usually a copy of your CNIC or NICOP, any reference numbers you have and a signed authorization letter. We tell you exactly what is needed for each record.

Can you send the document abroad?

Yes. Once it is retrieved, and translated or legalized if needed, we send it by courier to your address anywhere in the world.

How early should I book?

As early as possible, especially for conferences and rare language pairs. For short remote sessions we can sometimes arrange an interpreter at short notice.

Do you provide interpreters outside the big cities?

Yes: in person where we can, and remotely anywhere in Pakistan.

Do you give immigration advice?

We are not immigration lawyers. We prepare and legalize documents according to the checklist you receive from the authority, and point out anything that looks inconsistent.

Can you work with my lawyer or consultant?

Yes. We regularly work directly with lawyers and consultants who send us their clients' requirements.
